Jill (Schriefer) Hendricks Memorial Mile Aug. 4
I received the following from Allison Brune, daughter of our late sister and classmate Jill (Schriefer) Hendricks.
Jill's brother Greg Schriefer is hosting a memorial event at Ellis Park for Jill Saturday, Aug. 4. The Jill (Schriefer) Hendricks Memorial Mile will be the 7th race at Ellis Park that day, and is dedicated to her memory. Post time should be around 3:40. We are planning on having a group photo with the winning horse and jockey (the more, the merrier.) It should be a great day! We will be in the main grandstand, but it is open seating. Any and all who would like to attend and celebrate Jill are invited to attend. Hope to see you all there! Allison Brune.
